Germany Destroyer
After conquering France in 1940, the German Navy captured a small number of unfinished French ships. Among them were four Le Hardi-class destroyers, two of which were in the initial stages of construction, L'Opiniâtre and L'Aventurier. The German High Command planned to complete them with German weapons and use them for their own needs; however, the ships were not even launched until the end of the war.
