Uk Battleship
In January 1911, Japan ordered the development and construction of a battlecruiser in Great Britain that received the name "Kongō." It turned out to be better than the contemporary British ships, and because of that, a similar project was selected to build a new battlecruiser within the 1911 program. HMS Tiger was laid down in 1912 and commissioned in 1914 as a part of the 1st Battlecruiser Squadron. She saw action during the Battle of Dogger Bank, sustaining six hits, and she survived taking as many as 18 hits—largely from heavy guns—without suffering crippling damage at the Battle of Jutland a year later.
