Captain Skills Planner
Build and share your World of Warships commander builds
How to use the captain skills planner
This planner is a decision and sharing tool, not a promise that one build is best for every ship or mode. Start by choosing the class, then select lower-tier skills to unlock the higher tiers. The counter keeps the plan within the 21-point limit.
Write down the build's job
Name the ship, mode, and purpose in the description. A survivability build, a concealment-focused build, and a specialist competitive build solve different problems even when they use the same class tree.
Check the source version
The visible skill-data version is a reference point. Compare skill names, costs, and effects with the current game client before spending commander points, especially after an update.
Explain the trade-offs
A useful shared build says what it gives up as well as what it improves. Use the description to explain the intended range, consumables, and situations where another choice would be safer.
Keep drafts unlisted
Public listing is optional. Save experiments privately, test them, and only list a build when another player could understand its purpose without guessing. Use the report control when a public build is inaccurate or outdated.
For the positioning decisions behind a build, continue with the ship guides and tactical breakdowns. Tactics With Tom does not copy community builds into editorial recommendations without review.
