HMS Eskimo, a Tribal-class destroyer, was commissioned in 1938. Her service in World War II was eventful and challenging—she was seriously damaged in battles several times but always managed to survive and return to combat. Her service record includes the Second Battle of Narvik, the North Africa and Sicily landings, and operations in the English Channel and the Far East.
